Rest assured that, with us, you will receive an experience that is tailormade to your detailed requests. We take personalized service to heart by emphasising more than just what we offer to see in Sri Lanka, but the care we take to ensure your experiences with us are positively unforgettable.

Explore Ahungalla

Ahungalla is a fast-growing coastal town located less than 100 kilometres south of Colombo. Popular among locals as a short weekend getaway destination, being only 2 hours’ drive down the coast via the new Southern Expressway, Ahungalla boasts many attractions, not including its pristine beaches.

To Do In and Around Ahungalla:

    • Visit “Brief Garden” by renowned landscape artist Bevis Bawa, who converted this former rubber plantation in Beruwala into a magical personal abode with a unique and wonderful landscaped garden, recently opened to the general public.
    • Go on a Whale Watching expedition to observe these gentle giants up close in a globally recognised Blue Whale hotspot off the coast of Mirissa.
    • Join a scenic River Safari along the Madu Ganga to see a variety of endemic species of flora and fauna. An exciting fact for those naturalists at heart is that the Madu Ganga river system is home to an estimate 303 species of plants and 248 species of vertebrate animals.
    • Traditional mask-makers are a fundamental part of the Sri Lankan Buddhist culture, their masks often used in ceremonies to exorcise demons. In Ambalangoda these respected artisans open their workshops for visitors to watch and experience how their thousand-year-old skills are used to create intricate masks from Kaduru wood.
    • See Sri Lanka as the birds do; from the air! Hot-air balloon rides are now available as an optional extra for visitors! A wonderful addition to the activities available in Sri Lanka.
